How to Check Your Ring Size at Home

Finding your perfect ring size is easy! You can measure your finger or use a ring you already own.

Method 1: Measure Your Finger

You will need:

  • A thin strip of paper
  • A pen
  • A ruler marked in millimetres
  1. Wrap the paper comfortably around the base of your finger.
  2. Mark the point where the ends overlap.
  3. Lay the paper flat and measure the length to the nearest millimetre.
  4. This measurement is the circumference of your finger. Compare it with our ring-size chart to find your size.

Make sure the paper fits snugly without feeling too tight—you should still be able to slide it over your knuckle.

Method 2: Measure a Ring You Already Own

  1. Choose a ring that fits the intended finger comfortably.
  2. Place it flat on a ruler.
  3. Measure straight across the inside of the ring, from inner edge to inner edge.
  4. This is the ring’s internal diameter. Compare the measurement in millimetres with our size chart.

Do not include the metal edges of the ring in your measurement.

Helpful Tips

  • Measure your finger at the end of the day, when your hands are at their natural size.
  • Avoid measuring when your hands are particularly cold or hot, as your finger size can change.
  • Measure the exact finger on which you plan to wear the ring—your fingers may be different sizes on each hand.
  • Take your measurement two or three times for accuracy.
  • If your measurement falls between two sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size.
  • For a wider or chunkier ring, you may prefer to size up for a more comfortable fit.
  • Avoid using stretchy string, as it can give an inaccurate measurement.

Please note that measuring at home provides an estimate. If you are unsure, pop into our Zo&Co Skerries store, where our team will be happy to help you find your perfect fit & we also offer exchanges on all rings!

Jewellery Care Instructions:

At Zo&Co, we create jewellery designed for everyday wear using high-quality 925 Sterling Silver and Stainless Steel with PVD Plating. To keep your pieces looking their best for years to come, we recommend following these care guidelines.

While our jewellery is made to be durable, all jewellery requires proper care and maintenance. To help preserve the finish of your pieces, avoid direct contact with harsh chemicals, including soaps, hand sanitisers, cleaning products, perfumes, hairsprays, and fake tan. We recommend applying beauty and skincare products before putting on your jewellery and allowing them to dry completely. We recommend to not wear your pieces whilst swimming in salt water or chlorinated water.

For our 925 Sterling Silver plated pieces, we strongly recommend removing your jewellery before washing your hands, showering, swimming, exercising, or exposing it to water, including pools, hot tubs, and the sea. Limiting exposure to water, moisture, and chemicals will help maintain the quality and longevity of the plating and keep your jewellery looking its best.

When not being worn, store your jewellery in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Regularly wipe your pieces with a soft jewellery cloth to remove any buildup and maintain their shine.

Please note that Zo&Co cannot be held responsible for tarnishing, discolouration, fading of plating, or damage caused by exposure to water, chemicals, cosmetics, fake tan, perfumes, lotions, cleaning products, or improper care. Individual body chemistry, skin pH levels, and environmental factors can also affect how jewellery wears over time.

By following these care instructions, you can help keep your Zo&Co jewellery looking beautiful for longer.

Sensitivity and allergies to metals:

At Zo&Co, we carefully select materials that are suitable for sensitive skin. Our jewellery is crafted using 925 Sterling Silver and high-quality Stainless Steel, both of which are hypoallergenic and completely nickel-free. While reactions to jewellery can vary from person to person, our pieces are designed to be gentle on the skin and comfortable for everyday wear.

925 Sterling Silver – 1.0 Micron Plated
Crafted from 925 sterling silver, meaning it contains 92.5% pure silver, and finished with a 1.0-micron layer of gold plating. This creates a beautiful, high-quality finish, but it should be kept away from water, perfume and harsh chemicals to preserve its shine.

Stainless Steel – 18K PVD Plated
Crafted from durable stainless steel and coated with 18K gold using PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) technology. This creates a strong, long-lasting finish that is perfect for everyday wear.
